We started this morning at the place where Jesus taught the sermon on the mount. (See Matthew Chapters 5-7). There is a beautiful garden that overlooks the Sea of Galilee.
We spent the morning visiting various places along the edge of the Sea of Galilee including the place where Jesus fed the 5000.

We enjoyed a wonderful boat ride across the sea to visit a museum that featured a 2000 year old boat found on the bottom of the Sea of Galilee.

We saw the home site of Peter at Capharnaum. There were some amazing ruins here. They also built a very modern looking church on top of Peter's home.

For lunch we enjoyed some St. Peter's fish (of course) and I was very disappointed not to have found a golden coin in the fish's mouth.

After lunch, we went back into Nazareth to see the Synagogue where Jesus attended growing up.
The walls and floor of this room are reported to date back to Jesus time - 2000 years ago!

We ended our day at Mount Precipice.

This place is referenced in Luke 4:28-30 when Jesus was rejected by his own people in Nazareth. The views overlook the Vally of Armagedd0n - where the future battle will be fought. See Revelation chapters 16 and 20.

Here I am with Dr. Jay Strack - the leader of our trip.
